I Ranked My Favourite Films

Ok. This year I decided to rank films I’d watched. Only caring to record those that I thought were 8 out of 10 or above; this is a completely subjective list. Mainly ranked in terms of ‘rewatchability’ or meaning. Click each image for information about the film or documentary via their imdb page.

I think reading info in list form can turn into a bit of nightmare, so here’s a clean sweep:

I think Tekkonkinkreet and McCullin are great. If you like films that are a bit dark or have aliens in, this list probably covers that. I actually think Edge of Tomorrow is great too (sorry..). There aren’t too many ‘classics’ in this list, but maybe that will change. Some aren’t films, they are documentaries or series. Feel free to throw things at my head if you disagree with me.

Annihilation and Happiest Season very much pass the Bechdel test, but other films don’t fair so well.
